Evaluate the proposed bottle and closure as one identified system. An attractive bottle image cannot confirm material, fill or compatibility.
Define the product and target fill
Describe the formula format, intended use and target fill before narrowing the appearance direction. State the unit clearly and ask the supplier to confirm the available configuration for the selected model. If the catalogue shows a family of sizes, do not assume every size uses the same component set.
Where source information is incomplete or conflicting, request confirmation instead of choosing the most convenient value. Keep the confirmed answer attached to the product code and revision.
Review the bottle and closure together
Ask for the relevant dimensions and component details of the assembled pack. Explain how the product will be filled and dispensed, and involve your filling partner in reviewing the proposed configuration.
If your concept includes a pump, cap, insert or other accessory, identify it explicitly. Ask which items are included in the sample and quotation so that comparisons cover the same scope.
- Selected model and target fill.
- Bottle and closure component details.
- Filling and assembly information to be reviewed.
- Dispensing or accessory requirements, where applicable.
- Decoration areas and appearance references.
Separate appearance from compatibility review
A decorated sample can help review an appearance direction, while a filled-product evaluation answers different questions. Define the exact formula and component configuration to be reviewed, together with the responsible parties and the information they need.
Aptar’s beauty services describes materials–formulation interactions alongside laboratory functionality and compatibility testing. This supports treating those subjects as specific project reviews rather than conclusions drawn from product photography.

Confirm the commercial scope
Request MOQ, sample cost, quotation scope and lead time for the chosen configuration. Ask how a change in capacity, component, artwork or finish would affect the project.
Before moving forward, bring the drawing, sample identifier, artwork and written specification into one review record. Keep remaining questions visible until they have an agreed answer.
Product specifications, available configurations and approval steps must be confirmed for your selected MCPA model.
